The Pony Bank initiative pilots a flexible funding mechanism that simplifies the application and implementation process for youth aged 10–24 with innovative ideas, enhancing the capacity and readiness of ICYSCs to respond to the fast-evolving needs of youth while promoting their agency and community participation.
From October 2025, all youth aged 10–24 can apply for up to $8,000 through the TO_MO community to fund their idea proposal. For the following 4 months, up until February 2026, the first 20 proposals each month will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, where each youth may only receive the funding once, and proposals must involve at least 10 Hong Kong youths (aged 10–24) as planners, participants, users, or audience members. There is no limit to the thematic focus of each project, but they must be completed within four months of the proposal being first accepted.
